Covid-19: India reports 3,500+ cases, overtakes China
India rose to the 11th spot among countries with the highest number of reported Covid-19 cases, overtaking China’s official count on Friday, as new infections from across the country remained higher than 3,500 for sixth consecutive day. Maharashtra, with 1,576 fresh cases, continued to lead the numbers, followed by Tamil Nadu (434) Delhi (425) and Gujarat (340).
