1 in 5 deaths in MP is a child under 5, just 2% in Kerala
Deaths in the 0-4 year age group account for a shocking 20% of total deaths or one in every five in Madhya Pradesh. In contrast, deaths in this age group account for just 2% or one in fifty of total deaths in Kerala. ​​This was revealed in the Sample Registration System (SRS) 2018 report released recently by the registrar general and census commissioner of India.
